In plain words
Privacy and cookies
What this site stores, what it does not, and how to change your cookie choice.
What we do with your details
We collect your name, email, phone, party size and any notes you send us, because we cannot host you without them.
Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our site and we never see it or store it.
We do not sell your details and we do not share them with anybody except Stripe, for the payment itself.
We email you about your own booking. We only add you to anything else if you tick the box asking us to.
Ask us to delete your details after your stay and we will, apart from what we are required to keep for tax records.
The email signup box
The box that offers farm news and open weekends asks for your email address and a tick to say you agree to hear from us, about one email a month. Right now it is not connected to a mailing list and nothing from it is stored on our servers. When we connect it, we will say so here first.
Unsubscribing will always be one click in any email we send.
Cookies
This site sets one small first-party cookie, and only after you choose Accept or Deny on the grey bar: it remembers your choice for 12 months. It does not track you.
Analytics or marketing tools are not switched on. If we add any, they stay switched off until you press Accept. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as Deny.
The popup remembers that you have seen it in your browser storage, for 14 days, so it does not keep appearing. That stays on your device.
Questions
Write to us at the email address in the footer and we will answer, or delete your details if you ask.
